Coordinate Project activities for the Food security & livelihoods, Education, Gender &Protection projectsAllocate resources to the project for effective and efficient operation to meet programObjectives.Supervise Project technical advisors and officers to ensure program compliance.Develop, review and update project implementation (Staffing, procurement, finance andhuman resources )and report to the Executive Director.Approve and review project expenditure reports in accordance to donor and internal policiesConsolidate monthly and quarterly reports for submission to the donors WFP,UNFAO, SDC &UNFPA.Reviewing and analyzing program strategy, design, results framework, budget and detailed implementation plan.Co-ordinate with other Relief and Development Agencies, Local Authorities and stakeholders in ensuring food security and development intervention strategies are targeted to the appropriate target population.Co-ordinate and foster relations with other Partners in areas of operation as to ensure proper allocation and sharing of resourcesAssist Technical advisors, project teams to plan, implement, and monitor and evaluate approved activities as per programs design.Ensure programme compliance to Humanitarian Accountability standards.Ensure that all commodities earmarked to target populations are properly handled, stored, transported, distributed, tracked, fully accounted for and reported on according to SAADO standard procedures and Donor policy.Visit target communities to get their perceptions and experience so as to assist in planning and development of relevant community-oriented and sustainable programsPrepare monthly management reports as well as monthly narrative reports for the sector according to set standards and formatsFacilitate the identification designing and implementing of appropriate training needs for staff and local communities.Supervise all program staff through appropriate systems and attend to their welfare issues.
