Software Tools InternBose Corporation Jun 2014 - Aug 2014Framingham, Massachusetts, UsDeveloped an Android application in java to expand the automated testing capabilities of Bose Bluetooth products. The application communicated with a Linux server via HTTP requests. The application also would automate the phone operations in order to test the Bluetooth products. This turned out to be quite a challenge and required the exploration of very strange Android functionality. Generally allowing an application to just make modifications to the Bluetooth settings or phone settings automatically without getting confirmation from a user is considered to be dangerous by most developers, but it makes sense from an automated testing stand point. -
