I am involved in the implementation of commercial best practice to maximise value, reduce cost risk and any other risk to the alliance or Amey overall. This is done through the capture of detailed and accurate estimates, fulfilment of contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle and continuous negotiations with suppliers and sub contractors during the procurement process . Moreover, I ensure reporting of commercial project information at different levels of detail are readily available and relayed to the programme manager on a weekly basis and individual project teams. I also ensure that forecasting, change control and volume is reflected within the programme through a strong relationship with the project planner on a continual basis.Contract Ranges: £100k - 25M per annum.•Ensure compliance with the Amey systems, processes and procedures.•Prepare commercial reports including Cost Value Reconciliations and cash flows.•Exercise full cost control of project(s) including providing and monitoring budgets and forecasts.•Leading on the production of weekly/monthly cost and value reconciliations and forecasts.•Assist and advise the Relevant project teams the issuing of all notices required under the Contract(s).•Endeavour to ensure that all contemporary records are kept by the project team members for use in supporting claims and extensions of time.•Manage all aspects of subcontract procurement and payment.•Maintain professional working relationships at all times.•Ensure that the Client receives no commercial “surprises”.•Submit in a timely manner applications for payment, and endeavour to ensure the Client issues payment certificates in accordance with the Contract(s).•Submit in a timely manner Change Requests, with price and programme effects, for subsequent agreement.•Provide sound commercial and contractual advice to the Project Manager and other team members.•Promote the Amey safety culture.•Participate in regular monthly safety meetings.

As a member of the Risk and Value Management function, I provided support to all project management teams to ensure that threats throughout their project life-cycle are reduced to as reasonably practicable, but more importantly to exploit opportunities were possible.I was assigned to the following programmes;•Special Area works (i.e Bristol Temple Meads) from being grade II listed.• Development works (including Metrowest & Portway Park & Ride) 3rd party schemes•Bristol Area Signalling Enhancements (BASE)•Track Lower works in the surrounding West of England Area.•Central Team risk registers including (Access, Consents, Level 2 programme threats/opportunities and lead design organisation.- Intercity Express Programme (IEP)My responsibilities were;• Development of in-depth Risk Management Analysis tools including risk reporting to be used both at programme and project level.• Development of Quantitative Cost Risk Analysis (QCRA) models in @Risk to improve traditional cost estimation on projects and recommend appropriate contingency level(s) to ensure project success.• Manage and maintain project risk register(s) in accordance with corporate governance including internal control systems; Governance for Railway Investment Projects (GRIP) and Delivery of Work within Possessions (DWWP).• Facilitation of risk and value management and assumption analysis workshops, and challenge project teams were applicable, on their current project risk information to prevent any form of bias. • Present risk presentations on the importance of risk management and provide training support on Active Risk Manager (ARM), Primavera Risk Analysis, to advance enterprise risk management throughout Network Rail team(s).•Up skill new starters on the fundamentals of risk management, quantitative schedule and cost risk analysis at programme and project level.

I have the following responsibilities;• Development of in-depth Risk Management Analysis tools including risk reporting to be used both at programme and project level.• Development of Quantitative Cost Risk Analysis (QCRA) models in @Risk to improve traditional cost estimation on projects and recommend appropriate contingency level(s) to ensure project success.• Manage and maintain project risk register(s) in accordance with corporate governance, as well other corporate procedures such Governance for Railway Investment Projects (GRIP) and Delivery of Work within Possessions (DWWP), to ensure accuracy of risk data is regularly reviewed, accurate, and timely and were possible appropriate risk controls are incorporated into action plans and acted upon.• Facilitation of risk and value management and assumption analysis workshops, and challenge project teams were applicable, on their current project risk information to prevent any form of bias. • Present risk presentations on the importance of risk management and provide training support on Active Risk Manager (ARM), to advance enterprise risk management throughout Network Rail project team(s). Achievements:• Co-facilitated Programme QSRAs workshops, and completed modelling (Primavera Risk Analysis) and supplementary report(s) for submission to Dft . (2016)• Involved in the preparation of the Quantitative Cost Risk Analysis report for GWEP for submission to the Network Rail board and Hendy Review Proposals (2015).• Group Award for the most resilient Network Rail risk management team (2015)

Main Duties:•Basic Risk Assessment experience for Legionnaires disease required by law.•Provide a high level of customer service to landlords and tenants. •Networking with clients to build organisation property portfolio through promotions, negotiation and offers.• All forms of marketing the business from on-line advertising, face to face negotiation with potential clientèle and newspaper ads.•Arranging repairs and maintenance for properties. • Liaising with landlords, tenants and contractors.• Managing property viewings and inspections as well as attendance. • Ensuring all properties are compliant with current legislation.• Ensure that rental is competitive within the property market and reasonable rent increases.
