A frontline Banker who throughout my career has worked in Business Development and Relationship Development - equally comfortable in both.This has enabled me to develop top class networks & relationships with businesses & professional advisers in the Scottish sme market. My present role is Relationship Director to a portfolio of businesses in the £5-60m turnover range. This role involves assessing their complicated credit requirements and monitoring risk assessment for the Bank. This is in addition to serving their day to day transactional Banking requirements. My aim is to be their Trusted Adviser.I am always on the front foot seeking to engage with businesses and professional advisers I have not met yet that I believe I can add value with.Outwith the Bank I am an experienced non executive director predominantly in the Healthcare sector. I have been a director on the board for 2 of the largest healthcare charities in Scotland for many years. In my present role at the Mungo Foundation I chair the care sub-committee. In addition I was delighted to be asked to join the board at St Margaret’s of Scotland Hospice in Clydebank in 2023. Having seen at first hand the first class care a friend received at the hospice I felt privileged to accept the invitation.
