Stephen was responsible for rebranding Skilsaw in the Eastern GTA. He targeted residential construction job sites with a chance to sample a Skilsaw for free, and purchase it at a discounted price. Stephen attended a 1 week training session to learn effective selling methods, share ideas, and gain product knowledge. With his outgoing style, influencing skills, organization skills, creative thoughts, and friendly personality, he was named Product Manager of the year. Job Duties and Responsibilities:-Place the Skilsaw brand product with qualified end-user for a no obligation trial. -Follow-up and close the sale with the end user. Emailed the receipt with a thank you email.Promote the Skilsaw line of cutting tools and refer the user to local distributors with a pre-printed brochure.-Worked to surpass a quota of 15 seeded saws per week-Reported and tracked inventory levels-Demonstrated creativity in lead generation -Work with Key Account Managers to complete customer set up forms-Other duties as assigned

Stephen acted as the manager for Rocket Firework's pop-up store in Newmarket, Ont. On top of spearheading over $15,000 in sales each operational week, Stephen was responsible for several other functions. He tracked and ordered inventory, explained products to customers, managed marketing materials, and hired a part time employee.

Minden Hills Ontario

After several successful summers of working with the Lake Boys, Stephen took the initiative to start a similar business called Dockside Detailing. This company focused on servicing cottagers with quality manual labour services, but he appealed to a niche market by servicing water access only properties. Through providing junk removal, lawn maintenance, property management, and landscaping services, Dockside Detailing became a successful venture.He ran this business through a Government of Ontario grant called "Summer Company". While operating the business, his responsibilities included but were not limited to:-Hiring and managing 3 employees-Managing customer information-Cold calling, and searching for leads through various vehicles-Purchasing and maintaining equipment-Predicting demandThe company was run through the summer months. It was a great learning experience.

Minden Hills

Stephen assisted Riley walker with his start up company called The Lake Boys. The company focused on providing outstanding manual labour services to the residents on Minden Hills, and the Kawartha Lakes. Through cold calling, Stephen helped generate leads for future contracts. He also was an integral part of the day to day operations. Cutting grass, lifting heavy objects, and removing junk were also his responsibilities while on the job.
