After years of hands-on experience in residential construction as a carpenter, manager, and business owner, the industry could no longer provide me the day-to-day satisfaction it once did. It was then I realized it was time for a change. After a brief stint at East Carolina University, I walked away with a renewed sense of pride and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Upon graduation I was recruited by Duke Energy as an Electrical Design Engineer at Oconee Nuclear Station, where I am rising through the ranks as I continue my education at Clemson University in the MBA program.
