Program Manager of the Data Integration Branch within the Energy Assessments Division. Over seeing the Branch's mission of data collection, analyses, and reporting on energy industry data. Providing essential statistics and facts used to assess and develop energy policy, including data on electric generation, electricity and natural gas consumption, refinery and petroleum supply. The branch administers surveys studying how Californians use energy and participates in state emergency planning and response.

Manager of the Data Analytics Division for the Office of Energy Infrastructure Safety within the California Natural Resources Agency. Overseeing the Analytics and Development Units responsible for the analytics and development of utility data guidelines, data analysis, GIS development, data development and data visualization to support data driven decision making.

Lead GIS coordination and collaboration initiatives with local, state, federal and private stakeholders to enhance data and GIS in emergency management. Oversaw a robust, dynamic award winning (NAPSG 2018) team of GIS professionals. Served as Plans and Intel Chief for the red incident support team, supporting the State Operations Center during activation's for statewide incidents.

GIS Specialist and GIS Lead for the CalOES GIS Division supporting the GIS data needs of emergency services through situation awareness web applications, data analysis, data integration and intra/inter agency collaborations. Supervised the GIS team and day to day workload for the division. Oversaw project management for catastrophic plans, mitigation, recovery, and response. GIS Lead for the Northern California Catastrophic Flood Response Plan. Oversaw development of ArcGIS Online (AGOL) products for executive situation awareness products, daily and incident specific situation awareness and business group specific products.

Lead the GIS program for the Department of Water Resources. Lead the GIS floodplain mapping utilizing 3D and Spatial Analyst toolsets in conjunction with LiDAR data, FIS data and other hydrological and elevational data. Maintained datasets and data layers utilized in the County's GIS viewers in cooperation with County GIS. Provided other as needed GIS services to other staff within the Department and County. Created and led the Departments GIS User Group to help further consolidate GIS operations within the Department and coordinate services with County GIS. Responsible for GIS analysis support for CRS and Hazard Mitigation plans.

Supported and lead the day to day GIS operations for the Drainage Development and Floodplain Management section within the Department of Water Resources. Provided support in creating, editing and acquiring GIS data related to the section. Support floodplain delineations using the 3D and Spatial analyst toolsets. Provided support for the departments flood zone determination phone line and online message system. Assisted in field surveys for our elevation certificate program. Part of the team that was responsible for overseeing the GIS transition from paper FIRM maps to digital FIRM maps, oversaw the QA/QC for GIS data. Responsible for GIS analysis support for CRS and Hazard Mitigation plans.

As a student intern learned how GIS is applied and used in the Department of Water Resources, created reference maps for field surveys, engineering project locations, or general reference maps. Learned how to and assisted under supervision with LiDAR to develop surfaces in TIN format using the 3D Analyst toolset. Assisted in creating a floodplain layer that was derived from LiDAR data that gave a more accurate representation of the floodplains using the 3D Analyst toolset.
