CurrentNamed after our parents, Gemma and Joe, our parents have played a major role in our lives in more ways than one. They purchased a fast food mobile caravan business way back in the 80's selling all sorts of fare. This gave the siblings our first taste of serving good food, and service that always came with a smile. Fast forward to 2011, my brother and I found ourselves living in America chasing completely different careers, Jay in acting and myself in music. The constant travel traversing the U.S. birthed the love of the road for both both of us, and therefore the love of Diners. The Diner really brings home the ethos and essence of what we want to create at Gemma Joe's. Many times during our numerous road trips across the US we were comforted and embraced by an ever present character- The American Diner. It took us in for early morning coffee and breakfast, and was there when we needed a late meal at night. We dreamed there, expressed ourselves, laughed, found respite, and connected with many locals and characters across the US. Gemma Joe's was birthed during these trips and we are forever grateful for the American Road and the American Diner.
