A highly experienced stratigrapher with 30+ year’s work experience in the field of petroleum exploration and production consultancy in a wide variety of geographic areas including North-West Europe, Eastern Europe, Mediterranean, North Africa, Middle East, Americas, West Africa, Near East, Far East and Australia, including:• Single, multi-well, field scale biostratigraphic analysis (routine & thin-section micropalaeontology and lithology) and correlation.• Integration of micropalaeontological, nannofossil and palynological data.• Palaeoenvironmental modelling and interpretation, utilising all fossil groups.• Application of biostratigraphic data to sequence stratigraphic models, through the use of chronostratigraphic data, log data and biofacies interpretation, for integration with seismic data and prospect evaluation. • Wellsite duties (exploration, development & appraisal wells), tasks including monitoring of wildcat wells, casing point, TD and coring point decisions.• Fieldwork - detailed outcrop logging and sample collection.• Outsourcing and integration of isotope data.• Outsourcing and integration of macrofossil data (various groups).• Development of biozonation schemes in frontier areas, and upgrading of existing schemes.• Reservoir scale biostratigraphic studies, integration with sedimentological, lithofacies and seismic data.• Equity re-determination studies, including data preparation, interpretation, integration with equity teams and representation at equity meetings.• Secondment to client offices (UK and overseas) for data generation and integration with exploration / asset teams for the development sequence modelling for prospect evaluation. • Presentation of data within client offices.• Preparation and delivery of technical courses in client offices.
