The fIrst portion of my MetLife experience was as a team member engaged in the development of an enterprise Business Intelligence database to capture financial and statistical information. I personally authored portions of the business requirements, report definitions and UAT design. As this project neared completion, my contract was extended to provide project implementation support for the CAMRA to PAM investment accounting system conversion.

Worked two different assignments at during this period. First assignment was with Progress Enegy (now Duke Energy) as a regulatory analyst preparing schedules and responses to Florida Public Service and Federal Energy Regulatory Commision requests. In my second assignment with Syniverse Technologies, my role was to use my previous SAP experience to review account reconciliation procedures for improvement opportunities.

Directed the accounting function for 4 business entities located in the US, India, and Puerto Rico in this $1.1 billion IT Division. Led 3 Staff Accountants / Senior Accountants to oversee general accounting functions such as accounts payable, payroll, tangible & intangible assets, and account reconciliation. Developed monthly/quarterly financial statements, compiled business unit results, maintained company-wide reporting system, and presented monthly results to senior finance leaders. Motivated and coached a highly skilled professional accounting team to achieve objectives.
