Responsible for all international student processes, which include: Issuing I-20's. Maintaining compliance with all government organizations and monitoring international student visa regulations.

In collaboration with the Department of Corrections (DOC) facilities education directors, visit the facilities to meet with incarcerated students and assist them with program enrollment, completing financial aid documents, and guiding them through course selection. Remain with the students as they complete their courses, help with college policies and procedures, registration, how to communicate with faculty, and develop a plan for graduation. Inform students of the academic and financial options available if they are not able to complete an academic program while incarcerated, including whether they can continue in the program after release transferring credentials earned in the program to another program or another institution, as well as transition services to support successful reentry.

The NASPA Veteran’s Knowledge Community (VKC) is the nation's leading knowledge sharing and generating professional organization and serves as a central gathering place for the intersection of policy, programs, research, scholarship, and best practices for the success of student veterans in all higher education contexts. VKC’s goal is to facilitate the successful transition of "Military-Connected Students" to higher education and beyond which includes those currently and formerly serving members of the military, active duty, National Guard, Reserve, and their dependents, as students on campus through-out the country. VKC helps build a community of support amongst peers to ensure sharing of best practices and policies on college campuses through dynamic blog discussions, a series of white papers and focusing on new research and emerging trends to meet the needs of this unique population.
