Second: on-boarding a private company of approximately 1,200 employees, into a company now with 17,000 employees globally (I was part of the company doing the acquisition).Began leading the first plant and managed a turnaround safety culture from an RIR of 17 at start, to zero during my first year. Lead the same group OSHA injury free for 4.5 years. Took on another acquisition plant manager role 6 years after my first acquisition plant leader role. Safety culture/safety performance improvement along with process stabilization being the primary focus with that plant. I assembled a strong leadership team, established a new org design structure for maintenance, quality and operations/production. In (Apr '24) we passed the 2 year recordable injury free milestone. April 29, 2023 marked the first time in site's 76 year history that the facility had operated 1 year recordable incident free. Experienced in partnering with science and technology groups to facilitate research and development with plant involvement. Joint patent holder as a result of these efforts. Successful manufacturing innovation environment creation within the plant setting is a key, core competency.
