• Key responsibilities: To design an electronic system to replace paper based Expense and Timesheet Forms, this would allow the forms to be validated at creation, and through email could be authorised or rejected (by up to 4 authorisers) back to originator, before been passed to Finance and subsequently to Payroll for payments to be made.• 10 Expense Forms were built into one workbook, each form was built on the fly (including all formulas, formatting, Data validation, Conditional formatting and cell protection).• A similar process was used for 11 Time Sheets.

· Creation of Bespoke tools and Adaptors for business critical systems controls etc. using Excel VBA.· Development of complex SAPGUI scripts (using Excel VBA to manipulate the SAP user interface environment), allowing for the efficient extraction and uploading of datasets to SAP via Excel.· Procedures, training, troubleshooting and assistance provided in the development of all systems.

· Contracted for 6 weeks by Britvic Finance office, to develop from a functional spec a new ‘Trading Terms Evaluation Model’ using Excel VBA, the model is to allow the sales team a quick evaluation of business agreements, discounts etc with Britvic customers.

· Working within the ‘Knowledge Management Team’ for Rolls-Royce Civil Aerospace. The teams remit was to provide a specification for a global solution to the development of Gas Turbine Engines within Rolls-Royce, this was to be achieved by developing interim procedures and working practices using Excel VBA. · Key responsibilities include the analysis, design, development, UAT, maintenance and documentation of ‘Vehicle Requirement System’ utilised in the development of Gas Turbine Engines.· Redesigned the Workflow procedure (in Excel VBA and Outlook) to be more generic in its use, and to give an 800% saving in hard disk storage per workflow (approx. 12-15 GB per year).· Consolidated and improved the various system and administration toolsets, allowing Team Leaders and individual users to manage their own teams/information.· Established excellent working relationships with the different departmental teams.
