To act as a point of contact for schools that require help, assistance or to report faults with MIS software. To ensure service delivery targets are achieved by proactively managing the MIS systems. Carrying out occasional routine updates to all schools.The Network Administrator is responsible for completing the requirements of the specified support processes including call logging, diagnostics and query resolution, call closure and the maintenance of high quality call notes. This will require the updating of all systems on a real time basis including the completion of detailed and accurate call notes. Reporting – harvest data from school networks and using Excel extensively to provide data analysis on school network usage, e-mail usage and portal usage. To construct reports based on data, ensuring they are produced in a timely manner and accurate call notes.Software Validation - Software Validation - Keep log of software received, check if already validated/new validation, create ISO image, use software database, raise service call, update DGfL packages spreadsheet. Transfer ISO images to ESI and then check ISO's have transferred correctly. Update service call. Email ESI so say software has been transferred for validation. ESI email me with validation queries so I often have to liaise with TAM's, engineers or schools before getting back to ESI. Update database and DVRC (Dudley virtual Resource Centre) with validated titles, deal with issues relating to software validations (problems creating ISO's, running out of space on server, ISO's becoming corrupt during transfer etc) DVRC Maintenance - updating DVRC, basic Frontpage.Administration support – General office duties, Taking course bookings, progressing invoices, assisting Curriculum Consultants in course preparation, recording school visits. Maintain clean and tidy training rooms. To undertake such tasks, from time to time, as reasonably requested by a member of the Dudley Management team.
