As a member of the 2017 Internship Program, I worked in two divisions of the business; Residential Communities and Acquisitions & Advisory. I predominantly assisted with the planning phase of projects in Sunshine North (Luma) and Taylors Lakes (Taylors Quarter), whilst gaining exposure to delivery at Riverwalk; a land subdivision project in Werribee. On a day to day basis I was exposed to contract negotiation and administration, procurement and bid assessment, concept design, project management, research and stakeholder engagement.In Acquisitions and Advisory, I had access to first class training in feasibility modelling on Estate Master. Using this skill I assisted with the financial analysis of new sites within the development pipeline, including detailed market assessment reports to analyse price points, demand for certain product types and other demographic data. The day to day responsibilities provided me the opportunity to analyse both commercial and residential developments.
