Streamline is a saas platform tailored to special districts (small and local government agencies). Our suite of web apps cover content management, compliance, email marketing, and payment processing.Our stack is ruby on rails, typescript, react, graphql, postgres, and redis hosted on AWS.

StreamSend is a high-traffic, high-availability email marketing app scaled across many app servers and database clusters. Our team maintained the rails app while building and rolling out new features to our large customer base.I eventually moved to our email editor team where we converted a legacy javascript codebase to Angular. We maintained existing functionality and improved it into an industry-leading drag-and-drop email editor. Modern take on the wine-of-the-month club featuring small-production California wines. In addition to software development, my duties also included biz dev, marketing, graphic design, and sales. Technologies: Ruby on Rails, Minitest, Javascript, and Postgres.

Gtown was a marketing platform for small businesses, which enabled them to create sales promotions, distribute their offers through social media sites, and analyze performance. Our platform was built using Ruby, Rails, Sinatra, Coffeescript, Backbone, and Postgres.

Thesis Media was an online marketing agency managing millions of pay-per-click ads across a large client base. We developed an online platform to aggregate and analyze our ad performance. Built using Ruby, Rails, and Postgres. Thesis Media was acquired and the team went on to launch Gtown.com.

At Adex we acquired a variety of small companies that focused on lead generation and affiliate, search, and continuity-based marketing. All of the companies used disparate systems and technologies and my jobs was to tie everything together into a cohesive system.

Long-term consulting work for both Bay Harbor and Contactual. At Bay Harbor, I designed and developed a lead generation system using LAMP technologies and later migrated everything to a Rails. Bay Harbor was eventually acquired by Adex Media, where I accepted a full-time position.At Contactual, I worked on the client-side interface for their call center application. The client was built completely in Javascript and spoke to the call center through a Jabber API. At the time this was a fairly novel way of building web apps. Contactual was later acquired by 8x8.

Various client work focused mostly on LAMP-style applications. The majority of my work was at White Pajama where I worked on the front-end team building out the client for their call center application.
