Giving traction to ideas and their expressions through the practice of intellectual property law, for me, is a privilege, a privilege that is also very satisfying to my native curiosity. I enjoy making the effort to understand the technological, legal, social, and economic contexts that breathe value into my client’s endeavors and to leverage that understanding toward the fruitful realization of those endeavors.Awe before the beauty of Euler’s Identity and an endless fascination with the Fourier Transform are things I share with clients who bring my Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering to bear on patent and technical matters. I endeavor to bring something of this respect in providing solid protection for the innovations with which I work, and I take the satisfaction of a craftsman in my work product. Although I focus on electrical patents, the scope of my experience greatly exceeds this niche.The experience I have acquired litigating matters in several different areas of law equips me to provide counsel informed by broader considerations, whether that counsel is directed toward a matter of IP litigation, or drafting a patent with implications for court in mind. I have contributed to numerous successful outcomes at all stages of litigation and on appeal, and I bring lessons learned along the way into everything I do. My firm conviction is that I offer my clients something that cannot be matched, both in terms of quality and cost. I am comfortable charging much less than what is charged by larger law firms, while providing work product of superior quality. I have worked at several respected law firms.
