About Stephen Prettyman

I am a clinical social worker who works currently with adults who have a history of trauma. I have specialized in trauma since the beginning of my career in 1994. I use Cognitive-Behavioral, Internal Family Systems and mindfulness based psychotherapy models. I am presently investigating a new modality that will help me work with children who suffer from trauma, ADHD and Oppositional Defiant Disorder effectively. I have also had training in Motivational Interviewing and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT).
