Responsible for leading a team of 27 Electrical and Embedded Software engineers in the development of various elements of design for various companies. Design Areas include Network, Server, RF and Hand Held Consumer electronics. Driving and participating in product proposals were an implicit part of product development. Other responsibilities include providing structure to the organization by driving process improvement initiatives, overseeing and providing guidance on technical project initiatives.

Lead a team of 70 people including 5 managers responsible for coordinating technical direction and resources for multiple projects. Also work with individual employees and groups in coordination training curriculums for career development.Responsible for departmental burden budgets as well as coordinating design activities over multiple projects amongst various business organizations. This included looking at new technologies and coordinating advance development activities around concepts and technologies that would potentially be viable solutions and fit into particular business unit’s product roadmap. Software process improvement was a strong initiative for my department. Tasked with the goal of achieving CMM level 2, I coordinated and formulated teams of process agents to work with engineers and design support people to derive and leverage processes and procedures in achieving our goals.
