I tested and assured that valves passed testing standards. I made sure that the valves passed various tests and procedures. I also assembled and repaired valves that didn’t pass testing. When I was on third shift I was appointed “The Go To Person” on the shift. When there was a problem in the other departments of the factory, they would come to me for advice. I also delegated work orders to the other testers on my shift. I would follow up with the morning manager and pass on information about what orders needed to get done. Also, I trained new employees. How to pull orders, find test procedures and how to test the valves according to the printed procedure.
