I am an experienced HR generalist with a MSc focused in Strategic HRM. Operating at strategic level (although still hands on) I use my preferred leadership styles of coaching and collaboration to guide individuals to unlock their strengths and navigate challenges around leadership, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and compliance with employment law.Whilst important, for me it's not just about policies, procedures and ticking boxes. I believe that at the heart of HR lies in a thriving company culture, where talented individuals feel cared for, empowered, and valued. I've learned that HR's true north is found in focusing on people.My personal core values lie around kindness, empathy, and loyalty. I am a good listener, understanding not just spoken words but unspoken anxieties and aspirations. This allows me to advocate for employees effectively, building trust and loyalty at all levels. Though, I am highly resilient and will always follow through on what I think is fair and correct. I'm adept at utilising Human Resource Information Systems, ensuring processes are streamlined and data-driven thus helping with problem solving, managing and mitigating risk. Bringing this all together allows me to support the business in meeting its business goals and objectives.
