I joined a seed stage accounting software to lead sales, business development, partnership, and customer success efforts.- Created a services arm and took it from $0 to $250k ARR in 11 months before spinning it off- Led sales of a new product from $0 to $200k ARR in 10 months- Developed two large partnerships worth $100k+ in ARRZipBooks was acquired in 2019.

I consulted Fortune 500 companies, informed foundation-altering strategic decisions, and led transformational change initiatives. Most important thing I learned was how to think "Solution first," which means always bring a solution to the table when presenting a problem. The coolest thing I did was build an internal network of strategic partners that brought in millions of dollars of new business to Cicero. I also enjoyed advising a $500M CSR fund on their youth programs across the US and Mexico.

I helped students write research papers and then I graded them. I went out of my way to provide extra office hours and extended tutoring and group review sessions. I compiled feedback from students to inform a standardized grading rubric for research papers, bringing grading consistency across all 5 TAs and helping to increase the end of semester student reviews.Really, though, this job was just an excuse to stay close with one of my favorite college professors, Dr. Larry Nelson.
