With over 15 years of experience in anesthesia and critical care, I am a physician partner anesthesiologist at US Anesthesia Partners (USAP), one of the largest and most respected anesthesia groups in the country. My core competencies include crisis management, analytical skills, and critical care transport (CCT). My mission is to provide safe, efficient, and compassionate anesthesia care to patients across a variety of settings and procedures. My field of expertise is anesthesia quality and performance improvement, and I am pursuing an MBA in healthcare management to enhance my leadership and business acumen.As a physician partner anesthesiologist at USAP, I serve on the quality review committee, where I collaborate with other anesthesia providers and health care professionals to monitor, evaluate, and improve the quality and safety of anesthesia services. I also have extensive experience in anesthesia leadership and administration, having served as the vice chair of anesthesia, the chief-of-staff, and the anesthesia director at a 373-bed acute care hospital. In these roles, I contributed to the strategic planning, budgeting, staffing, and oversight of the anesthesia department, as well as the coordination and communication with other hospital departments and stakeholders. Additionally, I have a strong background in military medicine, having served as a lieutenant colonel in the United States Air Force and a second lieutenant in the Texas Army National Guard. I was part of the critical care air transport team, where I provided advanced life support and anesthesia care to critically ill and injured patients during aeromedical evacuation missions.
