The role involved the management and the initial auditing and administration of 130Glazing sub contractors Nationwide in Health and Safety Management and Quality Systems.Wholly accountable for auditing service suppliers and maintaining all aspects of qualitycontrol as well as monitoring cost adherence from service suppliers. The provision of customer support was critical, the role involved trouble-shooting subcontracting jobs and negotiating the best solution for clients.One of the key successes was the development of a "Preferred Contractor Scheme" for themost compliant of the service suppliers in the industry, which increased our customersatisfaction ratings.

Responsible for the production departments planning of glass manufacture using sales planand stock controls, involving strict control on stocks and shipping (inventory) and forthe monitoring and ordering of all packaging materials required for the stock and shipmentof glass. This position involved the supervision of a team on seven day rotating shifts.Day to day tasks included Responsibility for the Safe Working Practices on site, operatingglass CNC machines, glass cutting, edging and chemical strengthening. The role also hadresponsibility for quality control, meeting production targets. Deadline management andorganisational skills were key to ensuring targets were met and exceeded. Supplying glassdata storage mediums to Major European Electrical Company and major Glass Processors inthe far east.
