Working as part of Markel’s Wholesale claims leadership team, I help support our claims team of 50+ adjusters on high value complex claims across all lines including Marine, Energy, Professional and Financial Risks, Cyber, TCPRS, Reinsurance and Equine. I oversee the claims Watchlist, claims Roundtables, portfolio policy wording issues and external legal panel. I work closely with our other business units including underwriters, actuaries, operations and reinsurance recoveries to help ensure claims integrates seamlessly across the business and that our high value exposures and internal and external business relationships are managed effectively.
