Linx began as a company seeking management contracts for golf operations at local golf courses. It now is a full charge golf management company with responsibilities for golf operations, golf maintenance, food and beverage and consulting services. Additionally, Mr. Rice consults with several golf courses on strategic planning issues. Revenues have increased 17 fold since its inception.

This was a full service golf management company that managed all aspects of golf course functions including golf operations, pro shop and grounds. Steve was the co-founder and CEO.

The Linx Group was a full service golf branding and marketing company specializing in golf tournament consulting services, corporate branding and marketing initiatives. The company oversaw in excess of 100 tournaments each year and provided branding services to over 200 accounts.

Primary role was to market our services related to corporate branding. Served as CEO and directly oversaw all administrative services, sales and strategic initiatives. In the time served as CEO, the company grew from $350,000 in annual sales to over $8,000,000 in less than 5 years.

Repsonsible for all HR functions including performance management, benefits, wage and salary administration, employment, retention, training and employee development, strategic planning, downsizing initialtives, payroll, and compensation planning. Mr. Rice had the unique opportunity to start an HR department which grew to 20 employees throughout his career. During his tenure the company grew from 600 to nearly 2,000 employees and encompassed newspaper, television and radio properties.
