Primarily I can summarise my working career into three main working areas...Retail sales and crew member on commercial boat charter in family run business based in HaverfordwestFire & Safety in Oil & Gas industry (Pembroke Refinery)"On Call" Firefighter for local Fire AuthorityI have always lived and worked in Pembrokeshire and started work for my father in the family run business as a mechanic fixing garden machinery, to later managing garden machinery sales, in charge of workshops, spare parts department and the gas cylinder business looking after all sub outlets around Pembrokeshire.In 1991 I became an on Call Firefighter while still working in the family business and I climbed the ranks to Leading Firefighter where I gained the skills and knowledge to leave the family business in 2005 to be a Commercial Fire Technician at Pembroke Refinery.I am a Valero staff employee and worked in the Fire Department between 2005 to 2013 when I left the Fire Department to became a key member of the Shutdown and CAPEX project team. Following the Cracking & Olefins shutdown in 2021 I was promoted to join the Safety Department as a safety advisor and in addition I am still supporting the shutdown team for future events.I am a positive thinking hard working, loyal, caring, and committed individual who strides to always do my best and enjoys hard work in challenging environments.I am very outgoing individual who enjoys all types of water sports.
