As general manager, I was in charge of the following: payroll management, delivery tickets/ invoicing, ensure inventory and quality control, instruct employees on daily assignments, acquire new accounts and service existing accounts, ensure that orders are produced and delivered in a timely fashion, dispatch, training of new employees, ensure OSHA safety compliance, served as HR officer, oversaw maintenance of equipment, and inspected and maintained records for all kiln dry heat treated products that were to be shipped overseas.

During this time I supervised 5-7 employees responsible for the procurement of materials needed for pallet projects. I was in charge of providing an ongoing inventory of lumber, fasteners, tools, etc. needed for the manufacturing of pallets. During this time I was also served as the shipping and receiving coordinator. When new employees started I would train them in all safety and proper procedures related to the equipment. During this time I was also licensed to train and educate employees to be forklift operators.
