At Eclipse I worked on several critical pieces of work on both customer facing and internal systems. I extended the online ordering process for their new Cloud Backup product to support regrades using ASP.NET/C#/SQL Server. I also re-factored a domain name registration WCF based service to implement a major schema change. Other work assignments required on-the-job learning of ColdFusion and also gave me some exposure to jQuery.

I was appointed Web Development Team Lead on transitioning back to LV= from EDS and was responsible for 4 reports. This role was held until 2010 before I made a voluntary return to a pure development focused role. My more recent experience has been gained in the middleware area completing the build of an Oracle Service Bus hosted proxy service. I have also built new web services to provide quotations for major comparison services such as Avelo, Assureweb and Webline. This has involved a lot of XML data manipulation using both XSLT and Xquery for transformation. I have also adapted a legacy Access 2003 quotation system to call a central web service to obtain it's calculations. There have also been several ASP.NET projects I have made contributions to writting in both VB and C# building quotation and user access management applications.

I was transitioned into EDS in 2001 as part of an outsourcing contract awarded by Liverpool Victoria where I focused on pre-sales web and portal service system development and support. I designed and built several ASP.NET (VB.NET) applications during this time including a Portal quotations system and a User Access Management system.
