Senior Vice President, FinanceAllegheny County Airport Authority May 2005 - Jan 2017Pittsburgh, Pa, UsResponsible for the financial and managerial reporting of Allegheny County’s two airports, procurement and capital programs. Led the Finance Department to attain their first Certificate of Achievement in Financial Reporting from The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada for its Comprehensive Financial Report for the Fiscal Year Ended December 31, 2010. Subsequently attained the same award for five consecutive years. A first time award from the GFOA for the 2013 Operating and Capital Budget was achieved and subsequently attained for three consecutive years. The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management. Under my direction the Allegheny County Airport Authority attained a total of ten GFOA awards for excellence in financial reporting and budgeting. Additionally bond credit ratings were upgraded to historical highs from Fitch and S&P Global in 2016 to A/Stable. This accomplishment was achieved through fiscal management of cash resources and relationship building with credit agency representatives. -
