I am an experienced private equity and commercial lawyer with a wide range of expertise across a number of jurisdictions on the formation of tax and VAT-efficient offshore structures that hold UK and EU real estate assets. I have experience of advising on: (i) cross border acquisitions and mergers; (ii) advising borrowers on tax-efficient and VAT-efficient offshore structures for investment into businesses and for holding real estate assets and (iii) e-gaming and e-commerce. In addition to providing corporate and commercial law advice to a wide range of businesses, I also have extensive experience of advising IT, telecoms and e-gaming companies on technology-based commercial agreements having previously worked as a telecommunications consultant with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture).In addition, I am currently General Counsel to FXConcierge UK Limited which is a payments start-up that enables merchants to accept foreign currency card payments for a fixed fee. I have multi-jurisdictional experience and connections having worked in London, Kuwait, Abu Dhabi and Dubai as well as the Isle of Man.
