- Reporting to the Managing Director; full P&L responsibility for the Performance Management Systems line of business. Multi-£m revenue, with a portfolio across verticals including retail, financial, sport, health, and wellness. Well publicised partnerships include GlaxoSmithKline, KPMG and UK Sport for the Olympics.- Delivered platform based systems & products which collect, aggregate and analyse large distributed data sets (typically IoT based) to deliver innovative, and often real-time, insights.- Responsible for all aspects of management within the Line of Business including strategy, business planning, financial forecasting and customer account management. - Accountable for setting the technical direction of solutions and products, approving technology selections and architecture designs and ultimately responsible for technology delivered to clients.- Responsible for appropriate IP protection and marketing launches.- Initiated and led the development of a bio-telemetry platform, incorporating a medical CE marked device, server side analytics, web & mobile apps, and APIs for system integration. Other IoT solutions included remote condition monitoring for predictive maintenance, and data centre optimisation.- Thought Leadership and McLaren Technical Expert on relevant market niches, using these to drive the direction of the business, messaging and products. Hosted many high-profile guests, including super-angels as part of the “Great Britain” campaign and worked with journalists including Channel News Asia, BBC & The Times.- Worked closely with global offices; supported and coached the Singapore team in McLaren’s innovation approaches and digital technologies to create a profitable region.

Built several agile software delivery teams running agile/scrum, and managed outsourced hardware and software development projects:- Pioneered adoption of open source and cloud technologies (eg Linux, AWS, Hadoop, MongoDB, Python)- Worked closely with end users, including members of the public. Ran workshops to build product vision and collect user and stakeholder requirements.- Hands-on technical role, also supported pre-sales, proposal development, and client & project management.- Keynote & guest speaker at several events, both technical and thought leadership
