I am a C-suite executive with media and entertainment experience across finance, marketing, and operations. I have spent most of my career at Sony Music Entertainment where I have successfully partnered with several business unit CEOs in managing daily business operations and executing organizational strategy. I have thrived in an environment that has been continually changing through technological revolution, business model disruption, and multiple organizational restructurings, which has kept things fresh and presented me with new challenges and broader roles.More recently, I have also been mentoring founders of startup companies in the sports and esports industries, helping to drive innovation at the pop culture intersection of music, sports, gaming, Web3, and the metaverse. My passion for music began when I started playing in bands at the age of nine. As a teen, I had a brief stint as a “roadie” for the Marshall Crenshaw band working venues like the legendary Stone Pony in Asbury Park, New Jersey where The Boss himself, Bruce Springsteen, hopped on stage with the band one night. While at Wharton, I was captivated hearing an alumnus speak on his experiences as producer of The Rolling Stones’ Steel Wheels stadium tour. That’s when I set my sights on a career in the music business. On a personal note, I enjoy boating, photography, gardening, wine tasting, and attending rock concerts (of course). I’m also an eyewitness to the impact of nature versus nurture in human development as the father of twins!
