I have continued working in my current position since 2007, through several company acquisitions.My role has involved developing software both for internal systems and production environments and I have previously taken on a supervisory role of other team members. My focus has moved towards being responsible for design and development of some of the significant software projects within our team such as prototyping new systems.

Following the acquisition of BlackSpider by SurfControl I continued in the same position. During this time I took on addition responsibility for supervising other members of the team.

I worked as part of the Threat Research Team at BlackSpider until the acquisition by SurfControl in 2006. Working primarily with the perl programming language on software for the production system.

I joined BlackSpider as a graduate in 2004 and as their first support engineer. I held this position for around a year before moving into the newly formed Threat Research Team as a junior developer.
