CurrentManaging a significant change programme to implement a cross site shutdown team.Delivering the plant shutdowns to agreed timescale and budget Driving and develop the shutdown preparation, planning, scheduling and execution systems. Ensure work packs are produced to a high standard and are concise, clear and help minimise the risk of human error.Responsible for leading the shutdown team to ensure job packs are produced and all Risk Assessments are reviewed in a timely mannerManaging, motivating and developing the shutdown team to ensure required competence levels and efficiency of workSpecifically coordinating efforts to optimise the schedule to carry out the required work in the minimum outage time.Producing cost accounting report for each shutdown event in advance, measure actuals and work on a continuous improvement programme to optimise costsIdentifying manning requirements for each outage, manage the supply of labour from both the main on site contractor and additional / alternative service providersProviding weekly progress/update reports, whilst liaising with key plant personnel to ensure all statutory inspections and major threats are addressed in the most appropriate outageLeads post event reviews to identify and implement improvementsComplies with all site standard work requirements (EHS investigations, EHS actions, EHS tools, Leadership interactions, Safety Crosses, Tier Process, Process Confirmations etc)Ensures that the site Management of Change process is implemented fully for relevant shutdown work and develop a robust quality control management system for all engineering work.
