Management and Organizations faculty member in Cornell's SC Johnson College of Business. Research activities focus on issues of leadership, entrepreneurial team processes, and status and diversity in management teams. Teaching experience includes courses in Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Strategy, Organizational Behavior and Management and executive education workshops and seminars in leadership effectiveness, negotiations, and teamwork.

Co-founded PI Experiential Learning (PIXL), an NSF-funded startup that offers management and leadership education using sophisticated business simulations and analytical tools to help participants learn about themselves, how they work with others, and how they can grow as members of a team.

Commanded a tank platoon, scout platoon, and armored cavalry troop, directing training, maintenance management, and logistics coordination to ensure the combat readiness of soldiers, equipment, and support units. Selected to command the division's rapid deployment unit. Airborne and Ranger qualified.
