Stephen is in charge of all company operations, while continuing to oversee getting new work, client satisfaction and leasing/development opportunities for ReArch Company, ReArch Properties and Technology Park. He orchestrates the effort to implement improved standard operating procedures and processes that are much needed for ReArch to operate at its' current volume, while continuing to grow. He focuses on company efficiency, managing risk, and maintaining a strong commitment to core values and operating principals. Utilizing his years of project management and development experience in the construction industry, Stephen will also assist with the pre-construction effort on projects to ensure Owners receive the maximum value on projects when hiring ReArch. As Vice President of Development at ReArch Company, Stephen works to vet and pursue new real estate development, construction projects as well as property management opportunities and also to manage the leasing of Technology Park's various development properties. As a member of the executive team, Stephen provides insight into strategic decisions that help to foster growth across all of ReArch’s business entities. Stephen oversees all company marketing and sales functions including the generation of new project leads, creating company brand awareness and the development of project proposals. He also establishes and maintains ongoing client relationships and manages customer satisfaction. In addition, Stephen utilizes his years of development and design/build construction experience in assisting in the integrated design process in the early stages of projects to maximize client value.

Ottawa, Canada Area

* Drove design development on initial phase of the Zibi Project in Downtown Ottawa. This initial portion of the $1B, multi-phased, One Planet Living endorsed Eco District consists of multiple new and retrofit of existing buildings totalling approximately 250,000 square feet of commercial, retail and residential space. Total project value is estimated at approximately $75M, which consists of five buildings.* Managed all aspects of $20M, six-story, LEED Platinum residential condominium development on brownfield site. This included consultants, general contractor, finances, contracts, municipality, permitting, warranty requirements, and delivery of condo to purchaser. Many unique features were incorporated including automated parking system, storm water collection system and geo-exchange heating & cooling.* Managed construction closeout of penthouse suites on 22-story high-rise condominium development in downtown Ottawa. This is the most expensive real estate per square foot sold in Ottawa.* Managed the conceptual design phase and market launch of (14)-story office condominium project in downtown core with projected development costs of over $40M. This also involved implementing Canadian Wood Council Grant to explore constructing building out of mass timber, which included much interaction with authority having jurisdiction on alternative solution code approach as well as orchestrating design team.

* Successfully implemented multiple design-build projects from conceptual design to construction completion utilizing in-house engineers and network of sub-contractors. Gained experience on a wide variety of project disciplines such as: municipal building construction, historic building renovations, adaptive re-use, industrial infrastructure and process upgrades, sustainable development, site improvements, wastewater conveyance and treatment systems and facility operation & maintenance.* Managed most profitable and largest project within company located in Halifax, Nova Scotia for Sikorsky Aircraft. This unique project consisted of operating & maintaining the $60M Maritime Helicopter Training Center while installing additional mechanical & electrical infrastructure to support multiple flight simulators, training devices and flight support services.
