CQS is a company that provides value added services for its clients, including Brown Forman, Verellia, Boston Beer, CSS, Linak, UPS, Anchor Hocking, Kelly Coatings, Idemitsu, Beam, Makers Mark, DD Williamson, General Electric, etc.My position encompasses all operational functions including production, warehousing, receiving,shipping, transportation, quality assurance, inventory control, safety, training, and security.

Responsible for the warehousing and distribution operations, including finished goods warehousing and shipping as well as supporting manufacturing with all raw material, component movements, and ultimately the storage of finished goods. Additional responsibilities included quality and inventory control. Managed peak-shipping volume of 10,000,000 units annually. The local operation closed in 2009.

I was responsible for the Louisville, Reno, and Toronto Canada distribution centers and light manufacturing operations. Our facilities operated with multiple shifts, procesing UPS, LTL, and TL both domestic and international. Our facilities were ISO Standard 9001-2000 certified. The business closed in 2004.

UPS World Wide Logistics, now UPS Supply Chain Solutions, is a major third party logistics provider with operations throughout the world. I was responsible to manage the third party distribution and warehouse operations for Rolls Royce Allison Aircraft Engines, Rolls Royce Automobile Parts North America, and Gateway Systems.

My initial assignment was to contract new distribution and warehouse space in Louisville and then to consolidate two existing facilities located in New Jersey and Georgia in the new operation. Our primary business was to warehouse and distribute printed material and other goods for Westminster Press, John Knox Press, and the Presbyterian Church (USA).
