During my seventeen year career at Frito Lay, Division of Pepsico, I was responsible for leading many different teams including safety teams, operational teams as well as sales teams. I was often recognized for exceeding expectations and doing it the right way!. I delivered on my business unit expectations by leaning into my people first agenda and by embracing the concept of continuous improvement. I found that the skills that made me successful in leading teams were the same whether I was leading a safety team, a warehouse team or a sales team. Those skills that I found most successful were communication and especially being a great listener, leading by example and always being transparent and candid. It is always important to regularly recognize great performance and empower hi performing team members, so that they have an opportunity to shine. I always made it a point to celebrate our wins and listened carefully to their ideas and feedback to help build our strategy to win again. I believe it is very important to build in regular touch-points (one with one's) so you can stay current on the morale of the team member and the team and to make sure you act and follow up timely on any of team members concerns. It is my belief that the only way to build sustainable results is by putting your people first and embracing the concept of servant leadership.

Successful people leader in both supply chain and sales management. I also successfully lead the safety agenda for the northeast region that encompasses from South New Jersey to Maine and includes several Distribution Centers employing hundreds of warehouse personnel and managers. I lead by example while always bringing people with me.
