Growing up I’ve enjoyed understanding how things work and when putting them back together ensuring they still work. Since then I have gained 23 years of experience of engineering and 12 years of quality experience. Recent successes include:Significant savings from poor contractual arrangements by introducing value added waste to ensure assets are correct prior to returning to and from industry, estimated £1,000,000 in first 6 months. Introduction of standardised practices between 8 sections at RAF Benson for quality auditing and reporting.Having previously gained Eng Tech and continuing to improve myself and the team around me I have recently gained PCQI and am mentoring other quality professionals through the process. I am keen to progress this further and gain certification as an IRCA registered auditor in turn ensuring that producers and supervisors are given the processes and tools they need to operate efficiently and effectively to produce a quality product. Specialities: mechanical aircraft engineering, teamwork and leadership, mentoring and teaching, quality management and auditing, continuous improvement.
