In this role I was responsible for the Digital P&L across the Avios programme in the UK and the Avios currency revenue on ba.com. This was a small stock library that I owned and ran where 60 photographers worldwide sold their stock to commercial buyers. I built the e-commerce platform myself (I like to keep up with new technologies), set up the supply chain and also worked on the photography to produce the best results. I am a keen photographer myself and enjoyed creating this.

In this role I was responsible for e-commerce on the airmiles.co.uk website. Looking after its commercial performance, customer journey and portfolio of development and the channel strategy alongside our call centre. I also managed a team of developer / designers online and ran our Direct Marketing Communications studio responsible for all creative.

In this role I ran the loyalty magazine for Kuoni Travel's affluent customer base. The magazine was self funding and produced every quarter. My role included funding it, writing it ( I have a diploma in freelance travel writing and photography), paginating it and managing the creative agency who delivered it. It also included selecting all imagery.

I started my travel industry career at the heart of the industry - in Kuoni's call centre sales team. This was a great training ground for understanding customers and taught me alot about selling travel and the importance of customer service. I had travelled extensively in Asia and Australasia prior to joining Kuoni and therefore worked in tailormade.
