I have been working at Turkey Hill Dairy since May of 2008. The positions I've held at the dairy in chronological order are Ice Cream Batch Preparer, Pasteurization Operator, Vacation Relief, and Team Leader, Continuous Improvement Coordinator, and Processing/Receiving Resource Leader. During my time at the dairy, I have gained a wide range of knowledge and experience regarding food quality and food safety, process controls, employee safety, value stream analysis, and equipment maintenance. I have completed certification programs for Pasteurization and Lean/Continuous Improvement. I have experience facilitating root-cause-analysis and continuous improvement projects and spent five years as an active member of the Plant Safety Committee.I enrolled in the University of Phoenix's Bachelor of the Science of Business program in 2017 and completed my degree in June of 2020. Spending over three years as both a full-time student and full-time employee has taught me the importance of time management and task prioritization. My degree provided knowledge in accounting, economics, marketing, finance, and operations/project management while also improving my online communication skills.I also have over ten year's experience working as a part-time sub-contractor in home-improvement and industrial installation. I have experience in carpentry, masonry, and plumbing. I've worked in Singapore, South Korea, and on a cruise ship traveling the Caribbean Sea.
