I’m a maritime professional passionate about the industry and with a strong family heritage within the sector. My long-term goal is to work hard to one day become a Senior Manager within the Maritime sector. I gained my bachelor’s degree in Port Management and Development while working as an Operations Assistant in a Ship and Port Agency. Through hard work and dedication, I was promoted to Head of Operations of a multipurpose terminal, where I continued to stand out with high levels of performance. I recently completed my MSc in Maritime Operations Management with distinction. One of my main achievements in my career was when I was working at the terminal during the COVID-19 pandemic. Obviously, the first months were incredibly disruptive, but I am really proud of how I demonstrated effective leadership in addressing and ensuring both continuous port operations and the well-being of the port workers.I like taking on new challenges to continue growing and learning. I consider myself a “to-do” person; I like to get things done in the right, efficient and safe manner. I would say that I am a bit of a perfectionist, but I think that helps drive me to work harder and achieve my goals successfully.I care a lot about mental health. I hope that one day, I can use the knowledge and experience I'm gaining to help people in meaningful ways.The journey is long; keep on grinding!
