Supervising the maintenance team to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of machines producing 'green' anodes. Getting the best "bang for your buck" by identifying how to improve the plants reliability. Focusing on the way the team works with others in the plant to produce the best outcomes possible for them and the organisation.

Supervise building MMU's to required standards. Calibrate & commission MMU's prior to distribution to mine sites. Review and update technical paperwork associated with machinery to allow building from engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Supervise mechanical team - building & overhauling longwall machinery to engineering drawings. Review engineering drawings and machine specifications to enable continous improvement. Ensure quality assurance paperwork is completed throughout job.

Manage maintenance team to maintain equipment to a high standard and within budget allowing production to achieve stretch targets. Drive teams approach toward continuous improvement in design and procedures.

Supervise production team producing molten aluminium, ensuring they are working safely and to companies policies and procedures.

Review machinery performance and drive improvements in operation and design. Review and update associated technical documents required for both internal maintenance teams, external overhauls & new installs.

Review and update maintenance procedures in a strategy to create a more effective and efficient maintenance system.
