About Stephen Shearman

I am a highly experienced location, stunt and dramatic reconstruction director, producer and writer. I have a proven track record of bringing back the goods from some of the world’s most extreme and remote locations. I make popular, global-reach, action/adventure/expedition/science series for Channel 4, Sky, National Geographic, Animal Planet, Discovery and NBC-Universal. I was one of the lead directors on Series 2-7 of Man vs Wild with Bear Grylls for Discovery and latterly Series 7-9 on Animal Planet’s highest ever rating show: River Monsters with Jeremy Wade. I enjoy working with both established and emerging on-screen talent in both long-running series, series pilots and single hours. I am a proven and experienced shooter as and when the production requires.
