Global TMT Pay & Data Remediation Programme (March 2023 - March 2024)Project overview:This data and pay remediation programme required action from third party suppliers to ensure the client was compliant with local law across 36 countries. Stephen worked as a resource within the supplier engagement workstream with his objective being to drive compliance with the programme.Role and responsibilities:• Engaged with 143 suppliers across APAC, EMEA and LATAM to drive compliance with the programme. He achieved this through assisting with the execution of a communications plan. The plan included regular email communications, the facilitation of weekly check in calls with the most influential vendors and hosting programme webinars.• Created and regularly updated data dashboards to monitor supplier compliance. • Identified significant changes in compliance rates and communicated trends to senior leadership for data-driven decision-making. • Communicated with suppliers to understand rationale for significant changes in compliance rates and collaborated to find a resolution. • Data dashboards were used by senior leadership to drive conversations with suppliers and to update the wider team on progress.• Escalated programme risks and issues to leadership and assisted with their resolution. Results Achieved:Through Stephen’s engagement and data analysis efforts the programme exceeded the expected supplier compliance rate significantly.

I worked in the Treasury and Corporate Services Department of Bank of Ireland processing and verifying up to 150 foreign exchange transactions daily. I demonstrated an ability to manage my time effectively and build rapport with customers and colleagues. After a month of training I was trusted to manage the role independently as colleagues went on A/L. Duties included; - Drafting daily intra bank morning reports. - Formatting and emailing daily account status reports to external clients. - Working as part of a 3 person team to meet a minimum of 3 deadlines daily, ensuring all foreign exchange payments were processed and verified for external clients in a timely manner. - Verification included carrying out the necessary control checks e.g. funds checking accounts.- Calling external clients to phone confirm transactions if they were above the specified threshold amounts. - Liaising with front office FX dealers and other internal parties to resolve any issues when necessary.- Formatting statistical reports at end of day to account for the volume of work undertaken. - Running end of day software closures on packages such as Ibis FX and BOI's internal retail map program.

During my time at Dunnes Stores I worked in both part time (during college term) and full time roles across a number of in-store sectors including the fruit and vegetable department, checkout clerk, non-food floor staff and food floor staff. Had a good relationship with management and floor staff and demonstrated flexibility and a willingness to work in unpredictable circumstances. I learned about the importance of customer service, manual handling, time management, cash handling, and the legalities around purchasing certain products in store (e.g. Alcohol). Duties included:• FMCG product handling and replenishment.• Providing excellent customer service and transaction management.• Interacting with customers and staff in a friendly and helpful manner.• Offering input to staff meetings when appropriate.

A trusted keyholder and integral part of the team of bar staff at Kilmacs Bar in Kilmacud Crokes GAA Club. I developed interpersonal skills liaising with management, staff and customers. Demonstrated an ability to take on the responsibility of opening and closing the business for trade and exemplified trustworthiness. I learned about the importance of high quality customer service and retail cash handling etiquette. Duties included:• Opening and setting up the building for business.• Preparing products to order promptly, including a variety of coffees and alcoholic beverages.• Interacting with sometimes problematic customers. • Dealing with customer queries and complaints in a friendly and helpful manner.• Counting cash and locking up the building at close of business.• General cleaning up and maintenance of the bar and back bar.
