I was fortunate enough to be apart of this company as it has played the largest part in my professional growth and helped me to see my potential for a myriad of things, including sales, managing, and developing visions along with obtainable goals. As sales manager I was able to play a crucial part in growing the sales department by not only doubling our gross sales, but also establishing a work culture and environment within the department that promoted and produced success. By the time of my departure I was directly managing 5 employees and indirectly supervising an additional 4-6 employees on any given day. In addition I was solely responsible for hiring, firing, retention through incentives and reviews, team building, pay raises, and employee job duties within my department. From a managerial perspective, I oversaw everything from logistics, quality control, employees work hours, customer service, to customer experience and more. Lastly, I was able to play a role in promoting a similar work environment throughout the rest of the company through example as well as input with ownership other managers.

Trained to effectively and correctly install gas detection systems at drilling locations throughout Alaska. Locations consists of land based sites and drilling platforms. These systems require technicians follow stringent codes and practices in order to ensure their own safety along with the safety of those present at the work site. Proper installation and monitoring of the system requires knowledge of poisonous and explosive gases along with where and how they can be detected. In addition, a completed system requires setting up an alarm system that will properly coordinate with detection devices and can be relied upon to effectively inform personnel of any emergency situations.

Appliance installers main responsibilities consisted of nstalling, trouble shooting, and on site repair of appliances sold to customers. Position also required the ability handle daily logistics that consisted of coordinating between managers, co-workers, and customers. In addition, installers are required to quickly problem solve situations that involved water and gas leaks in a customers home. Installers were required to have the ability to work independently, provide excellent customer service, work closely with their manager/supervisor, maintain and excellent driving record, and adjust to unique obstacles that were encountered almost daily.
