Follows blueprints and instructions utilizing knowledge of specific tools, equipment and components. May be required to work around radioactive and/or corrosive chemicals and to wear appropriate protective equipment.MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Installs, troubleshoots, assembles and disassembles, repairs and maintains tooling and equipment at plant sites; may include equipment associated with refueling, inspecting and maintaining nuclear reactors and components.2. Conducts a variety of routine field tasks, operates specialized equipment, takes measurements, extracts and compiles data regarding equipment and process performance.3. Develops calculations, tables, reports, and other related data, as needed.4. Maintains maintenance logs and certification documentation.5. May assist with the development of procedures required to perform equipment maintenance and operation.6. Complies with all applicable safety and health rules including personal dose compliance.7.
