C4ADS Russian Nuclear SuppliersSep 2019 – Oct 2019-Lambda Labs project in partnership with the Center for Advanced Defense Studies, a non-profit that provides data-driven analysis of transnational security issues.-Used a Spark cluster on AWS EMR to aggregate Russian corporate registry data and three years of Russian trade data into corporate profiles, which could be used to detect companies with similar profiles to known Russian nuclear suppliers.Simpsons SaysAug 2019-Created a search engine for lines of Simpsons dialogue with a sickit-learn KNearestNeighbors model trained on vectors of dialogue from 27 seasons.-Deployed the search functionality as a Flask API on an AWS EC2.-Worked together with a cross-functional web team.Movie MoneyMay 2019-Created a model for a Kaggle competition to predict worldwide revenue for 4398 movies.-Serialized the model and deployed it to Heroku as a Plotly Dash application.
