• Oversees the day-to-day operations for two colocation data centers, including all Data Center Technician tasking, critical mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, client and Operations ticketing systems, and resource allocation• Interviews, hires, develops, motivates, and mentors Data Center and Facility Technicians• Sets annual Operational site-level goals and coaches site personnel to ensure achievement• Writes and reviews shift assignments, schedules, and timekeeping • Ensures the data centers operate at maximum efficiency by analyzing existing operating conditions, recommending new technologies, maintaining client Service Level Agreements, and improving overall efficiency while maintaining budget expectations• Coordinates the activities of contractors and consultants for critical work activities• Directly interfaces with the construction management team, contractors, and consultants for all data center construction and commissioning projects and programs• Performs all project management duties for Operations while also assisting with the on-site project management requirements for all other departments • Coordinates interdepartmental activities to maximize resources and scheduling efficiencies• Assists with department audits, client tours, budget planning, departmental strategies, data center management, and KPIs/metrics• Provides input to the Director for policy reviews, restructuring, and development• Works with the Client Success and Service Delivery Departments to maintain 100% client uptime without violating Service Level Agreements and to perform Quality Assurance checks on all new client data center colocation equipment and circuit installations• Primary management point of contact for facility abnormalities and emergencies• On call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year

Study and rank maintenance service requests and work orders by importance depending on project milestones, available vendors, management importance, and safety issues. Use Maximo to create electrical, mechanical, and fire protection system maintenance steps and work packages. Liaise between various departments, including Maintenance, Engineering, Safety, and Operations, to guarantee written procedures address work performance safely. Monitor areas where work is performed and report back on safety hazards and revision in procedures. Constantly improve work procedures based on finished work order results and technician feedback. Work closely with Maintenance staff on safety/procedural matters with procedures. Confirm parts availability for maintenance along with Procurement, Engineering, and Warehouse personnel. Edit processes with help from Maintenance and Engineering.
